Job summary

Baldor Specialty Foods, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor III to manage and coordinate daily operations in a fast‑paced environment.

You will lead warehouse teams, drive productivity, ensure inventory accuracy, and collaborate on process improvements and KPI performance to achieve operational excellence.   • Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Assign work, balance labor, and monitor workflow to ensure service levels and production targets are met.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for floor issues and resolve operational problems in real time.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor warehouse supervisors, employees and coordinators.
  • Conduct performance feedback, support development plans, and provide training to ensure team competency.
  • Support the hiring, onboarding, and scheduling of warehouse personnel.
  • Promote an engaged, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
  • Performing daily inspections of work area and reporting any irregularities.

  • Implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.
  • Handling discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy
  • Conducting daily employee huddles and communicating organizational needs to employees
  • Resolve conflicts and address employee concerns or grievances in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reviewing and verifying employee timesheets and approving overtime when necessary.
  • Providing feedback to company managers and advising on changes to improve the operation
  • Monitoring the use of machine and electronic equipment, including but not limited to power industrial equipment
  • Training new supervisors and organizing refresher workshops for existing employees.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Familiar with industry regulations and compliance (e.g. HACCP, SQF, AIB, USDA regulations).

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience in food, manufacturing, or 24/7 distribution environment.
  • OSHA forklift certification and experience with PIT training preferred
  • Basic analytical skills
  • Ability to design and implement workgroup training programs.
  • Diligent and punctual.
  • General Computer skills (Familiar with MS Office)
  • Food safety and safety awareness
  • Strong work ethic
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
  • 3–5+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Experience in high‑volume, fast‑paced environments (food manufacturing/production preferred if applicable).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes including receiving, picking, put‑away, replenishment, and shipping.
Work Environment
  • Ability to physically lift, push pull and stand for long periods of time without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to lift over 50lbs and stand and maintain active for long periods of time without reasonable accommodation.Ability to work extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.Comfortable working in refrigerated/freezer warehouse environment.
  • Shift and/or hours are subject to change based on business needs.
