Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Cafe is seeking an Overnight Sanitation Team Member to support our bakery operations with a focus on cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards. You will help maintain equipment, dishwashing areas, and workspaces so products stay safe and of high quality.

Ideal candidates are dependable, team-oriented, and thrive in fast-paced environments while upholding Tatte’s core values and mission. This role requires overnight availability on weekdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced kitchen, bakery, or restaurant environments preferred.
• Comfort with maintaining cleanliness, organization and sanitation standards.
• Demonstrated teamwork and clear communication in busy settings.

Responsibilities

• Wash and store dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware and utensils.
• Clean and maintain the dishwashing area and equipment.
• Unload and organize items after washing.
• Keep kitchen work areas, equipment and storage clean and organized.
• Stock supplies in preparation and storage areas.
• Transport supplies between storage and production areas as needed.
• Empty trash and uphold cleanliness standards.
• Support sanitation and food safety at all times.
• Other related duties as assigned.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an Overnight Sanitation Team Member to join our team! Our Sanitation team plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards that support our bakery operations and product quality. Sanitation Team Members help ensure kitchen equipment, dishwashing areas, cookware, and workspaces remain clean, safe, and fully operational throughout each shift.

We are looking for team members who are dependable, team oriented, and thrive in fast paced environments while maintaining strong attention to cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities

We expect our Sanitation team members to:

• Work collaboratively and support the bakery team wherever needed
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
• Bring a strong work ethic and attention to detail to every shift
• Live Tatte’s core values and help support our mission
• Maintain consistent availability to work the overnight schedule of 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Monday through Friday

Summary Of Responsibilities

• Wash and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, and kitchen utensils
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain the dishwashing machine and dish area
• Unload and organize dishes and utensils after washing
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen work areas, equipment, and storage spaces
• Stock supplies throughout food preparation and storage areas
• Transport supplies between storage and production areas as needed
• Empty trash and maintain overall cleanliness standards throughout the bakery
• Support sanitation and food safety standard at all times
• Other related assignments as necessary

Essential Functions / Working Conditions

• Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen or bakery environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to consistently work 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Monday through Friday

Qualifications & Experience

• Prior experience working in a fast paced kitchen, bakery, or restaurant environment preferred
• Passion for cleanliness, organization, and supporting team operations
• Desire to learn, grow, and support the bakery team wherever needed
