Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Active NBRC-registered RRT credential.
• Active Ohio Respiratory Care Professional license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 3 years of progressive clinical Respiratory Therapy experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Demonstrated clinical competence.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and evaluates all activities performed by staff in the Respiratory Therapy Department and Pulmonary Function Testing Labs.
• Contributes to the efficient operation of the Pulmonary Practice.
• Maintains competency to provide patient care from infant to adult populations as required by OSHA, Joint Commission and regulatory bodies.
• Upholds the MetroHealth System mission, vision, values and customer service standards.
