Job summary

Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, seeks a service-minded food & beverage associate to deliver room service and guest experiences. You will greet guests, present menu options with vivid descriptions, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality.

The role requires at least 1 year in food service and solid English communication; hospitality benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401K with employer matching.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 1 year in food service or related work.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the opening team.
• Greet guests and describe menu items with vivid descriptions; provide options and assist with trays and dishware.
• Deliver in-room food orders and ensure timely service while maintaining quality.
• Break down and reset room service areas, using mobile devices as needed.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests with urgency and care.
• Close checks with accuracy and assist with settlements as required.
• Follow Four Seasons’ conduct standards and work harmoniously with staff.

About The Role

Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods.

Essential Functions

What you will do

• Be part of the opening team
• Deliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room, check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest’s original order; transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
• Greet guests, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of room service tables, condiment set-ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations. Make proper use of our mobile technology devices and programs.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Non-essential Functions

• Take guest orders in the absence of order taker.
• Plate and prepare small food items.

What You Bring

• High school education or equivalent experience
• Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Minimum of 1 year in food service or related work preferred.
