Job summary

Clarion Wellness and Rehab Center in Clarion, IA is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN for the overnight shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM). This full-time role provides direct resident care, medication administration, and supervision of nursing assistants in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment.

You will monitor resident conditions, document in the EMR, collaborate with the care team, support admissions and transfers, and uphold infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in good standing.
• CPR certification is required.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions.
• Assess residents and monitor changes in condition, reporting findings.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights.
• Complete charting in the EMR and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with CNAs, providers, therapy staff and other team members.
• Supervise and support nursing assistants during shifts.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and infection control standards.
• Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, therapeutic environment.
