Job summary
Care Initiatives is seeking a Weekend Package Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team across Iowa’s skilled nursing communities. This full-time overnight weekend role runs Friday to Sunday, 10 PM–6 AM, with competitive compensation and weekend differentials.
You will provide direct nursing care, monitor residents, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to ensure outstanding outcomes. Join us to make a meaningful impact in residents’ lives and grow professionally.
Qualifications
- RN license in good standing; Iowa licensing or activation ability.
- CPR certification current and valid.
- Understanding of federal/state long-term care regulations.
- Demonstrated empathy, respect, and discretion with residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
- Support daily unit operations to ensure quality care and safety.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes.
- Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers and interdisciplinary team.
- Communicate care needs effectively with residents and families.
- Document care to meet clinical and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to infection control, safety and compliance protocols.
