Job summary

Allied Universal in San Diego, CA is seeking a Security Officer for overnight, part-time patrol at a residential location. You will provide customer service to residents and staff, deter security incidents, and maintain a visible security presence during assigned shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while following site procedures.
• Conduct patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and observe activity per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and resident concerns.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and shift communications for management.
