Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Security Officer Overnight Patrol Driver in Dayton, OH. In this unarmed role at a retail location, you will conduct patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service while adhering to site policies.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving duties. The position is full-time with a daytime-evening schedule and opportunities to grow within a supportive, security-focused team.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and other security-related concerns to appropriate store representatives and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.
