As a Security Officer Overnight Patrol Driver in Dayton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate clearly with visitors and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and other security-related concerns to appropriate store representatives and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
