Job summary

Survey Merchandiser is seeking independent contractors for a 5-day Overnight Retailer Merchandiser project in Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill, CA, at $19/hr. Prior retail merchandising experience is required.

You will replace paper price tags with electronic shelf labels and document progress via our app. Benefits include flexible scheduling, steady gig availability, and FastPay through OpenForce within 6 days of task approval.

Qualifications

• Retail merchandising experience required for a large store reset.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

• Business casual attire and adherence to store rules.

Responsibilities

• Unbox electronic shelf label kits and verify contents.
• Remove paper price tags from shelves and install new labels.
• Document progress using the app during the project.
• Keep the workspace clean by removing store trash and disposing properly.
• Paletize excess materials for pickup after completion.

You will support a large retail reset by replacing paper price tags with electronic shelf labels and documenting progress using our app.

Schedule & Hours

• Pay: $19per hour
• Start Date: September 20th, 2026
• Start Time: 10:00 PM
• Shift Length: 8.5 hours (Unpaid Lunch Break)
• Arrival: Must arrive 15 minutes early

Responsibilities

• Unbox electronic shelf label kits and verify all materials are included
• Remove paper price tags from store shelves
• Install new strips, electronic shelf labels, and associated tags in designated departments
• Remove trash from the store and dispose of it in the dumpster
• Palletize excess materials for pickup

Requirements (Must Have)

• Experience:Provenretailmerchandising experience
• Physical Ability:Lift up to 50lbs; stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
• Technology:Smartphone (iPhone or Android) with the Survey Merchandiser App
• Other:18+, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
• DressCode:Business casual: closed-toe shoes, long pants, plainshirtor polo.Not allowed: shorts, tank tops, graphic shirts, sandals, dirty clothing, or personal phone use on the sales floor
