Job summary

Project HOME is seeking a RespiteSupport Staff to assist residents in recovery and wellness, at Inn of Amazing Mercy, Philadelphia. The part-time overnight Saturday–Sunday 12AM–8AM position offers a $19.68/hour rate and requires promoting safety, connecting residents with resources, and maintaining a supportive living environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and may need a ServSafe certificate within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certificate at time of hire or within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience in behavioral health and/or homelessness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Site Health & Safety.
• Provide a recovery-oriented environment for individuals actively struggling with substance use disorders.
• Grant access to staff, residents, guests, and approved delivery personnel; log visitors and deliveries.
• Conduct and document building rounds to ensure safety and security of residents and premises.
• Address urgent/crisis situations using de-escalation strategies and follow emergency procedures.
• Manage resident interactions independently on-site with on-call assistance as needed.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (laundry, showering, hygiene).
• Complete accurate documentation in Salesforce (EHR), Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and other platforms.
