Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in California seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform diagnostics, therapies and patient education within approved policies. The RCP works with physicians and care teams, providing care across inpatient settings and ensuring safety and quality.

Shift details include 6 PM to 6:30 AM with a 12/36 schedule, weekend every other, and no on-call. Eligible candidates must hold CA RCP license, BLS and ACLS, with at least graduate from accredited program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care.
• California Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals required.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostics, therapies and patient education.
• Maintain RCP I/II competencies and ensure documentation and charging accuracy.
• Duties may include bronchoscopy support and pulmonary function testing.
