Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Care.
• Licensed as a California Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• BLS required; ACLS required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• RRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostics, therapeutics and monitoring.
• Educate patients, families and other health professionals about respiratory care.
• Document therapies accurately and ensure proper charging.
• May assist with bronchoscopy and pulmonary function testing.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and infection control.
