Job summary

Chico Hot Springs Resort is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Loss Prevention Agent (Night Security Officer) to help keep our historic property safe, clean, and running smoothly overnight.

You will patrol the resort grounds, monitor for hazards, respond to needs with professionalism, document incidents, and maintain property upkeep during overnight hours. You will coordinate with local responders in emergencies and represent Chico Hot Springs with courtesy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and self-motivated.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physically able to walk/stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and navigate stairs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the resort grounds to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
• Monitor for fire and safety hazards, ensuring buildings and storage areas are secured.
• Respond to guest or employee needs with professionalism, calm, and care.
• Document shift activity and incidents for management.
• Maintain property upkeep during overnight hours and keep areas clean and orderly.
• Assist in emergencies and coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
• Represent Chico Hot Springs with courtesy, tact, and professionalism in all situations.
