Job summary

YSS is seeking energetic night owls to join our team as Residential Overnight Float. You’ll move between Crisis Stabilization and Residential Treatment facilities, performing security checks and supporting overnight staff to keep youth safe.

The role requires staying awake and alert through the shift, with duties that include supervising residents, assisting with bed routines, and documenting required checks. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/equivalent required.
• At least one year of related work or life experience preferred.
• Ability to remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout the overnight shift.

Responsibilities

• Keep facilities safe by performing security and safety checks at multiple locations.
• Walk between facilities every 15–20 minutes to check in with staff and ensure security.
• Assist with supervision and care of residents during late-night and early-morning hours.
