Southeastern Directions for Life has an opening for a full-time overnight Residential Direct Support Professional in our group homes serving individuals with developmental disabilities. This role includes 1 to 4 overnights with occasional evenings, and requires weekend/holiday availability to support 24/7 operations.

The DSP will assist with daily living, health maintenance, and community integration, promoting self-directed living and advocacy for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a current driver’s license with valid insurance.
• Must pass comprehensive background checks and screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living skills and personal care.
• Support health maintenance, medication administration, and safety.
• Encourage self-directed living and community participation.
• Advocate for residents and respond to emergencies as needed.
