Job summary

WellPower in Denver seeks Residential Counselors to support residents with ADLs, provide individual psychotherapy, and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team. The role includes facilitating group therapy, handling intakes and discharges, and ensuring a safe, trauma-informed house environment.

Shift: Awake overnight, Wednesdays 8pm–8am. Compensation ranges per hour, with benefits overview available; CPR/First Aid and QMAP credentials are required or welcomed.

Qualifications

• One year of mental health experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age to apply.
• QMAP and CPR/First Aid certifications welcomed or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy with consumers to support recovery.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions within the house.
• Coordinate clinical care with case management and other services.
• Assess consumers and provide appropriate interventions.
• Assist with ADLs and support daily living activities.
• Maintain a trauma-informed environment and document care interactions.

Mental health experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in social work / psychology / human services

Pursuing CNA/HHA preferred or related certification
