Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred in human services or related field.
• Experience in residential or behavioral health settings is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to stay calm and compassionate in challenging situations.
• Experience with electronic documenting and report writing is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, including meal prep and transportation.
• Document resident progress and incidents accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support treatment plans.
• Respond to crises and apply de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours and activities.
• Teach clients new skills and act as a positive role model.
• Administer medications and complete documentation promptly.
