Job summary

The Guild for Human Services in Sudbury, MA is seeking an Overnight Residential Support staff member to assist the Residential Manager and provide overnight care for individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will lead morning activities and coordinate transportation to the day program.

The role requires staying awake during overnight shifts, strong teamwork, and the ability to manage medications in line with MAP guidelines. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma.
• Valid driver's license.
• Undergo background record check process.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Remain awake for the entire shift and provide support to individuals in the house during the overnight hours.
• Complete overnight checklists and reports as outlined by each individual’s service plan and/or behavior plan.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment including laundry and cleaning assignments.
• Assist in the development and implementation of each individual’s residential IEP/ISP and daily activity schedule.
• Administer and record individuals’ medications, in compliance with MAP.
• Transport individuals to various locations as needed.
• Provide 1:1 supervision and care at all times and locations.
• Participate in meetings pertaining to assigned individuals or program planning, as directed.
• Engage in de-escalation of individuals.
