Join us as an Overnight Residential Camp Counselor at Avid4 Adventure

For nearly 20 years, Avid4 Adventure has inspired children to embrace active outdoor lifestyles through unique programming. From teaching kids to ride a bike to guiding multi-day backpacking trips, our Summer Instructors foster a lifelong love of adventure. Join our inclusive community of outdoor enthusiasts this summer!

Positions Available

• Camp Windy Peak (Grades 6-12) - Bailey, CO
• Roles: Mountain Biking Specialist, Rock Climbing Specialist, Male & Female Cabin Instructors

Note: Limited non-driver positions are available; candidates must be 20+ and hold a valid driver’s license to drive.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour support ensuring safety and comfort during activities
• Co-lead outdoor activities such as mountain biking, climbing, kayaking, and SUPing
• Organize camp programming and promote safety protocols
• Serve as a role model and deliver excellent customer service
• If qualified, transport campers using company vans
• Support specialized sports as a program area expert if experienced

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum age 18 (non-driver roles in girls’ cabins are excluded)
• Minimum age 20 for driver roles
• Preferably 1+ years working with youth
• Experience in core sports preferred for Specialists
• Basic First Aid & CPR certification required; Wilderness First Aid preferred for some roles

Details & Compensation

• Work Schedule: Overnight camps operate 24/7; schedule includes one evening off/week
• Training begins around May 17; camps run June 1 – August 2
• Pay: Instructors $425/week; Specialists $446.25–$488.75/week, plus certification bonuses
