Job summary

CMC Phoenix is seeking an Overnight Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to lead the night shift, ensure high-quality patient care, and coordinate nursing operations.

You will oversee nursing staff, manage admissions, transfers, and discharges, address staffing needs, and respond to emergencies while liaising with physicians and administration to maintain patient safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Fingerprints Card (Level One) required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Prior leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical oversight for hospital operations during assigned shifts.
• Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Job Summary:

As a House Supervisor, you will manage and coordinate the activities of nursing personnel for a given night shift, interpreting department policy and procedures for nursing staff, participating in the identification and investigation of problems, and implementing improvements in nursing care. You will also provide staff training and evaluate personnel performance.

Job Qualifications:

• Current RN license

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
