Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS required; RN license in state of employment or compact.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Addresses psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient and families.
• Educates patients and families and identifies issues and resources.
