Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• 1 year experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• RN license in state of employment or compact

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assesses learning needs and educates patients, families, and caregivers; identifies resources.
• Meets applicable CHRISTUS competencies and delegates tasks as appropriate.
