Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform a wide range of routine and advanced imaging procedures. The role supports imaging teams, facilitates patient flow, and participates in QA and ongoing education.

The technologist will adapt to different shifts and campuses as needed and will troubleshoot image processing and PACS-related issues. The position requires ARRT radiography certification, state licensure, BLS, and a hospital-based background.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
• 1 year of hospital experience preferred.
• Basic computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of CHRISTUS Health competencies and professional standards.
• Assists radiologists and referring physicians to support patient care and throughput.
• Keeps patient information confidential and adheres to HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Maintains and calibrates imaging equipment and ensures images are stored in PACS.
• Troubleshoots basic equipment issues and participates in QA and safety initiatives.
• Works across shifts and campuses as needed to support service delivery.
