Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Texas is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging while supporting other technologists and ensuring efficient patient flow. The role requires ARRT radiography license, Texas MRT or equivalent, and BLS.

You may work multiple shifts on various campuses, with full-time schedule. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot equipment, participate in QA, and adhere to CHRISTUS Health policies and values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required
• 1 year of hospital experience preferred
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Meets the applicable CHRISTUS Health competencies and leads by example
• Maintains confidentiality and professional behavior per policies
• Supports radiologists and referring physicians to enhance patient throughput
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and reports malfunctions to appropriate personnel
• Ensures exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Adapts patient assessment and care to diverse patient needs
• Participates in QA and ongoing education within licensure scope
