Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging procedures and support fellow imaging staff. The role may require working at other campuses and shifts, with responsibility for image processing, QA, and PACS archiving.

The incumbent will participate in ongoing education and uphold CHRISTUS Health values and patient confidentiality. Applicants must have ARRT Radiography certification, state licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
• 1 year of hospital experience preferred.
• Basic computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of CHRISTUS Health competencies.
• Supports imaging staff and physicians to ensure patient flow.
• Maintains confidentiality and professionalism; adheres to policies and standards.
• Promotes staff growth and engagement with management.
• Assists radiologists and referring physicians to enhance physician satisfaction.
• Troubleshoots image processing and PACS workflows; follows downtime procedures.
• Ensures exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS.
• Performs examinations as needed to aid patient throughput within licensure scope.
• Adapts patient assessments and care to meet diverse needs.
• Participates in ongoing education, safety, and technical updates.
