Job summary

Center For Family Services is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse for the Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center (CRSC) in New Jersey. This 24-hour crisis center provides therapeutic interventions for adults in crisis within a supportive environment.

The role requires a PMH Nursing Master’s, ANCC psychiatry certification, NJ RN and APN licenses, CDS and DEA, plus 2 years in behavioral health. Part-time overnight shifts with benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in PMH nursing from an accredited university.
• ANCC board certification in psychiatry.
• Current New Jersey RN and APN licenses in good standing.
• CDS registration and DEA certification are required.
• Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience post-bachelor.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe medications per license and formulary; includes controlled substances and MAT.
• Provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment progress notes per policy.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic medical tests as needed.
• Develop holistic treatment plans with family involvement when indicated.
• Maintain timely, accurate records in the electronic health record.
