Job summary

Avery Dennison in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee operations teams and drive safety, quality, service, and productivity on a 12‑hour night shift Sun‑Tue and a 6‑hour night shift on Wednesdays. You will supervise direct reports, provide coaching, and implement process improvements to meet production goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience (print/rotary preferred), strong communication, and solid PC skills

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• Must have at least 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting; print or rotary experience preferred.
• Must have well developed verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must have intermediate PC skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise operations teams to achieve production, safety, quality, service, productivity, and cost reduction goals.
• Oversee equipment functionality and maintenance; supervise maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory and correct records for warehouse and workflow areas.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and determine corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure shipments are completed and packages are delivered as per the daily schedule.
