Job summary

GE Aerospace, Rutland, VT, is seeking a front line supervisor to lead manufacturing production associates, oversee performance evaluations, and coordinate manpower planning and training to meet customer demand.

You will mentor team leaders, resolve issues using established procedures, and ensure safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics across the site. The role requires strong cross-functional communication and flexibility for the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; minimum 3 years in manufacturing.
• Internal movement only; restricted to RPCA division employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage front line manufacturing production associates.
• Perform employee performance evaluations.
• Conduct manpower planning and training to develop skills to meet customer demand.
• Mentor team leaders in problem solving and coaching peers.
• Resolve problems using acquired expertise guided by precedent.
• Collaborate with colleagues across site-specific business unit.
• Accountable for safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics for the team.
• Coach, counsel, recognize and discipline as necessary.
• Communicate across all levels including senior leadership, maintenance, Quality, EHS and finance.
• Flexible with off-shift work (3rd shift: 11pm–7am).
