Job summary

HOODZ of Central Texas is hiring Cleaning Technicians in the San Antonio area. After completing training, you will have the space to work efficiently on kitchen hood cleaning projects.

We operate night shifts to accommodate restaurants' closed hours. The role offers growth into sales/management while supporting your career ambitions within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License and at least 3 years of driving history.
• DPS record may be requested upon hire.
• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
• Be dependable; arrive on time and follow safety plans and procedures.
• Physically fit; able to climb ladders to access rooftops and lift 50 lbs.
• Able to work flexible night hours.
• Capable of completing work from start to finish with limited supervision.
• Good communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Power washing of kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, duct work, filters and exhaust fans.
• Set up and take down of job sites and equipment; clean stainless steel hoods and set up tools.
• Operate independently to complete projects with minimal supervision.
• Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues.

HOODZ of Central Texas is looking for Cleaning Technicians in the San Antonio area. Kitchen hood cleaning experience not required, once you’ve completed your training, you are given the space you need to get your work done.

Skills / Requirements

• Have a valid Driver's License and at least 3 years of driving history.

• Be physically fit; able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments, able to lift and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet.

• Be able to work flexible hours (night shift).
• Be able to complete work projects from start to finish, with limited supervision.
• Have good communication skills; able to communicate well with customers and provide direction to other team members
• Have the desire to learn quickly and be able to work in a fast paced work environment with a growing company

Job Duties Include

• Power washing of kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, duct work, filters and exhaust fans
• The set up and take down of all job sites and equipment including wiping down of stainless steel hoods, setting up wet/dry vacuums, high pressure hoses, pre-sprayers, ladders, hanging plastic sheeting, pressure wash hoods and duct, etc.
• Independent completion of work projects without supervision
• Maintain equipment, reporting any mechanical deficiencies
