Job summary

HOODZ of Central Texas in the San Antonio area is looking for Cleaning Technicians. Training is provided; after completion, you’ll have room to grow and develop your skills.

Night shifts are scheduled when restaurants are closed to support work-life balance and productivity. This role requires driving a company vehicle, a valid Driver's License, and the ability to pass DPS record checks, drug screening, and a background check.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
• Physically capable to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Willing to work night shifts and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Power wash and scrape kitchen exhaust systems, hoods, and ducts.
• Set up and take down job sites and equipment, including hoses and vacuums.
• Complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain equipment and report any deficiencies.

Skills / Requirements

Technician must:

• Have a valid Driver's License and at least 3 years of driving history.
• DPS record will be requested upon hire.
• Be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
• Be dependable; able to show up on time, read and understand safety plans and procedures.
• Be physically fit; able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments, able to lift and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet.
• Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently.
• Be able to work flexible hours (night shift).
• Be able to complete work projects from start to finish, with limited supervision.
• Have good communication skills; able to communicate well with customers and provide direction to other team members
• Have the desire to learn quickly and be able to work in a fast paced work environment with a growing company

Job duties include:

• Power washing and scraping of kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, duct work, filters and exhaust fans
• The set up and take down of all job sites and equipment including wiping down of stainless steel hoods, setting up wet/dry vacuums, high pressure hoses, pre-sprayers, ladders, hanging plastic sheeting, pressure wash hoods and duct, etc.
• Independent completion of work projects without supervision
• Maintain equipment, reporting any mechanical deficiencies
