Job summary

Carlson Building Maintenance in St. Paul, MN is seeking an Overnight Porter / Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe shopping environment. You'll perform housekeeping, cleaning, restroom maintenance, and general porter duties, with training provided.

No experience required; training provided. Pay rate is $16.00 per hour, weekly pay, full-time 40 hours, 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM, five-day schedule with Monday and Friday off.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, porter, custodial, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum assigned areas
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
• Clean entrances, breakrooms, offices, and common areas
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies
• Operate cleaning equipment safely
• Follow cleaning schedules and task assignments
• Help maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and employees
