Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Pensacola, FL. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods, and collecting samples for various tests.

A high school diploma is required; phlebotomy certification or training is preferred, with at least 3 months of experience preferred. The schedule is Wednesday to Saturday, midnight to 10:30 AM, with travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
