Job summary

NYU Langone Health in New York, NY is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for overnight shifts (12a-8a). The role requires NYS registration, PTCB, and 2 years of experience.

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will perform dispensing, compounding, inventory management, and unit-dose distribution to support safe patient care. Responsibilities include inventory control, sterile compounding, documentation, and collaboration with pharmacists and health care teams to ensure timely

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required and 2 years of prior Pharmacy Technician experience or completion of NYU Pharmacy Technician program.
• Strong knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical terminology and labeling/dispensing procedures.
• Excellent organization and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a registered pharmacist, complete responsibilities including sterile compounding and aseptic technique.
• Maintain inventory, stock management, and receipt verification with documentation.
• Assist with medication procurement, unit-dose distribution, and 340B program compliance.
• Answer phones courteously, triage inquiries, and support medication workflow.
