NYU Langone Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team on rotating shifts. Under the direction of a registered pharmacist, you will manage storage, inventory control, dispensing, and distribution of medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.

You will operate pharmacy technology, deliver patient-specific meds, process controlled substance requests, and stock supplies. Strong attention to detail, organization, and computer skills are essential as is NYS Pharmacy

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma required.
• Knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical terminology and dispensing procedures.
• Pharmacy Technician certification and NYS registration required/per prescribed by NYS Education Department.

• Under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensure compliance with laws and standards for dispensing meds.
• Operate pharmacy technology and medical systems to fill medication orders.
• Deliver patient-specific medications and stock/receive medications and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory and perform unit-dose distribution.
• Assist in training new Pharmacy Technicians and support staff.
