Job summary

CVS Health in Virginia seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams, ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, and deliver compassionate care to patients and customers in the store.

You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed, communicate clearly with patients, and collaborate with pharmacists to provide excellent service while meeting regulatory requirements. Flexibility for scheduling and travel to nearby stores is expected.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements and be licensed/certified as required.
• Age requirements: at least 16 if no minimum age is mandated by the state board.
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state; follow local rules.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to help pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
• Fulfill prescriptions safely and accurately while delivering excellent patient service.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where permitted by law and training.
• Maintain inventories and handle routine pharmacy duties as directed by leadership.
• Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues to resolve issues.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to nearby stores as needed.
