Job summary

CVS Health, a leading healthcare provider, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient service across the store. The role requires adherence to SOPs, ongoing training, and contributing to a compassionate patient experience.

The technician may assist with immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed, while maintaining compliance with state regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice of pharmacy; includes age, education, licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum education, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks over time.
• Customer service and team orientation to assist patients and colleagues.
• Communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues.
• Medical math and dosage calculation aptitude.
