Responsibilities

• Develops competence in dispensing and delivery of medications, including information systems and automation used for dispensing and storage.
• Prepares non-sterile products following USP, state, and federal recommendations as required.
• Enters medication orders in the computer system and processes medication requests via the computer system.
• Manages phone calls from customers and team members, ensuring timely resolution or hand-off as needed.
• Complies with pharmacy procedures and documentation, meeting legal, regulatory, and department requirements.
• Adheres to controlled substance procedures, USP and ACPE/DNV requirements as applicable.
