Job summary
Saliba’s Extended Care Pharmacy, a member of the Guardian family, is seeking dedicated pharmacists to join our rapidly growing Phoenix team. We deliver advanced medication management solutions for seniors and complex care needs, supported by a tech-enabled operations platform and a collaborative, patient‑centered culture.
The overnight schedule is 7 days on / 7 days off with a daytime rotation every six months, at 925 E Covey Lane, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD required.
- State Pharmacist License required without restrictions.
- 2+ years of related experience in pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare medications for final dispensing and packaging.
- Review orders and cycle-fill medications for accuracy.
- Verify legality and feasibility of dispensing based on allergies and refills.
- Interpret prescription orders with patient safety in mind.
- Adhere to Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Adhere to compounding guidelines and transfer prescriptions as needed.
- Answer questions from patients, doctors, and nurses.
- Monitor inventory and place orders when below par.
- Oversee technicians and provide performance feedback.
- Log all medication error occurrences.
