Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking an Overnight Personal Care Aide to provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home care in the Sioux Falls area. You’ll assist with hygiene, mobility, companionship, and nighttime routines while helping clients maintain independence and comfort.

Flexible schedules and PRN/part-time options are available with weekly pay at $20 per hour. Availability for every other weekend/holiday is required, with on-call support and access to training credits.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in a comparable care aide job or current CNA license / first semester of nursing school.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Two professional references.
• Background check required.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home care.
• Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility and positioning as needed overnight.
• Support clients’ comfort, dignity, and independence.

What Does a Personal Care Aide Do?

As a Personal Care Aide, you’ll provide compassionate, one-on-one care to clients in the comfort of their own homes. Duties may include:

• Assisting clients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Providing respite for the client’s primary caregiver by allowing them to get restful night of sleep
• Assisting the client with mobility/positioning as needed throughout the night
• Supporting clients’ comfort, dignity, and independence

Scheduling Requirement: Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday is required.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Six months experience in a comparable care aide job, current CNA license or completed first semester of nursing school
