Job summary

First Day Homecare, LLC is seeking a dedicated LPN to provide overnight, one-on-one pediatric home care in the client’s home. The role emphasizes building trusting relationships with families while delivering skilled nursing under physician orders in a calm, supportive home setting.

Overnight shifts offer a consistent schedule and the opportunity for individualized, high-quality care. The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license in the state, CPR certification, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Graduate nursing licensure in the operating state.
• Current LPN license in the state of operation.
• CPR certification current and valid.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care as defined in the Nurse Practice Act.
• Administers medications and follows client care plans.
• Documents changes in orders in the medical record per agency procedures.
• Coordinates care with the client’s care team and attends agency meetings as requested.
• Performs pediatric-specific tasks such as tracheostomy care if required and ventilator management.
• Maintains safety and a supportive home environment for the client.
