Job summary

First Day Homecare is seeking LPNs to provide skilled nursing services to pediatric clients under physician orders, in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act. You will work within established care plans and document updates in client records.

Position involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring safe, high-quality care. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patients, and participating in care coordination with families and providers.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Michigan or operating state.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
• Follows physician orders and client care plans.
• Maintains client orders and documents changes in the medical record.
• Cares for pediatric clients including specialized services.
• Collaborates with the care team to coordinate services.
• Promotes safety and follows agency policies and procedures.
