Job summary

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire (with prior approval).
• Must be at least 18 years of age if working in Radiology areas (per Intermountain's Employment of Minors Policy).

Responsibilities

• Transports patients in a safe and efficient manner.
• Notifies nurse when transporting patient to/from rooms and coordinates with test sites.
• Uses the Patient Handoff Form and ensures it is completed before transport.
• Maintains cleanliness of transport equipment before and after use.
• Assists with patient admissions and discharges and restocks as needed.
