Job summary

Distinctive Living in Naples, FL is seeking a part-time LPN/LVN for Thursday overnight shifts. The role involves assessing resident health, developing care plans, and coordinating with the Health and Wellness team to ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold an LPN/LVN license, have at least one year nursing or caregiving experience, and possess strong communication and supervisory skills. Proficiency with basic MS Word/Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN licensure required.
• Must have one year of nursing or caregiver experience, preferably in assisted living, home health, or memory care.
• Minimum six months experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Must read physician orders and match to MARs for residents.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Follows resident service plans and documents changes per regulations and policies.
• Communicates resident needs to Health and Wellness Director as needed.
• Provides hands-on care and nursing tasks to support care plans.
• Gives training to care staff for continuing education requirements.
• Transcribes physicians' orders and reviews new orders.
• Maintains required certifications and completes ongoing trainings.
• Ensures compliance with CQI program and HIPAA, OSHA, and Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines.
