Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising licensed and non-professional staff, conducting daily rounds, documenting care plans, administering medications, and coordinating with health care providers as needed.

Qualifications

• Coordinate care with licensed staff and non-professional team members.
• Maintain clear and accurate communication with residents, families, and health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Lead or direct licensed and non-professional staff in delivering resident care.
• Administer medications as ordered and ensure availability of medications and supplies.
• Complete assessments, care plans, and documentation in the resident’s medical record.
• Conduct rounds with health care providers and coordinate with hospice/home health staff as needed.
• Ensure safety programs and policies are followed by nursing staff.
• Monitor and respond to changes in resident conditions; communicate with supervisor.
