Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA in Melrose Park, IL, is seeking a Packaging Operator to support multiple packaging lines, ensuring steady production flow, traying, nano-packaging, and pallet movement while following SOPs and quality procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift 40 lbs and transport up to 80 lbs, operate high-speed equipment, maintain logs, and participate in overtime as needed. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must lift up to 40 lbs and transport up to 80 lbs.
• Able to perform repetitive work on high-speed packaging lines.
• Ability to focus on detail during labeling and inspection.
• Move pallets using manual or battery-operated pallet jacks strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect labeled vials, lot numbers, expiration dates, inserts, trays, partitions, shippers, packing and palletizing shipper packs; maintain log on packaging lines.
• Perform skilled training for aggregation of shippers; qualified to work on high-speed automated inspection equipment (AIM).
• Perform and document line clearances before and after running a production lot; work on high-speed lines with HMIs; ensure packaged product meets all specifications.
• Comply with all SOPs and cGMPs and complete required training modules.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and meet daily goals; assist with changeovers and setup of equipment as needed.
• Ensure correct setup and operation of all packaging equipment; maintain safety and alert supervisor to unsafe conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned; overtime as needed; comply with Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems.
