Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in California is seeking a 2nd shift operator to package life-saving medicines on a high-speed assembly line. You will conduct visual inspection, move products on and off the line, and strictly follow SOPs and documentation.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Prior machine operator experience or mechanical aptitude is preferred, especially HMI experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
• Must be able to perform repetitive work.
• Must be able to focus on details for periods of time.
• Must be able to use pallet jacks to pull/push pallets of product.
• Must be able to pass Vision 5 visual acuity testing.
• Previous machine operator experience or mechanical aptitude preferred, particularly HMI experience.
• The company's primary language is English; ability to read, write and understand English required.

Responsibilities

• Package life-saving medicines on a high-speed assembly line and inspect products.
• Adjust and assist with changeover and setup of equipment.
• Visually inspect vials and labels and ensure product meets specifications.
• Comply with SOPs and cGMPs and report problems.
• Train teammates and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Work overtime as needed and wear appropriate clean room safety gear.
