Securitas US Business Unit is seeking an Overnight Operations Manager in Portland, OR. This salaried role requires availability 24/7 for emergencies, client requests, and operational coverage.

The position leads guarding operations across sites, supervises staff, and ensures service delivery aligns with client expectations. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills, plus experience in scheduling, payroll, and staff development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College degree or 2+ years of professional management experience required.
• College degree or 2+ years of honorable military/law enforcement or security experience required.
• Proficient in basic computer and technology use.

Responsibilities

• Manage a shift and/or segment of guarding operations at multiple sites, including supervision of subordinate officers and supervisory staff.
• Meet with line management and/or client representatives for status updates and to address any actual or potential problems.
• Ensure that service expectations are being met through regular contact with clients.
• Participate in and coordinate with line management regarding the orientation, training, development, and retention of high-caliber staff.
• Maintain and submit payroll records and other employee and business information, review client and company report for accuracy and timeliness.
• Communicate and coordinate scheduling, staffing, equipment, record keeping, and related matters, to ensure smooth delivery of services.

This is a salaries position and candidates must be available 24/7 to assist with emergencies, call offs, client requests, etc.

The ideal candidate will be equipped in handling in a variety of management functions for the assigned account. What Your Day May Look Like

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• College degree OR 2+ years of professional person management experience required.
• College degree OR 2+ years of honorable military/law enforcement or security experience required.
• Additional experience in scheduling, payroll, and training is preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer and technology use.
• Strong planning, organizing, and leadership skills.
• Ability to take initiative, achieve results, and meet deadlines.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills a must.
