Job summary

The Plaza Assisted Living in Hawaii is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to supervise and support the nursing department. The Nurse Supervisor will oversee daily operations, ensure quality resident care, and assist in nursing delegation duties.

Shifts available: Full Time Overnight and Casual Hire Overnight. Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, medication oversight, and staff supervision to meet state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii Nursing License (LVN, RN) in good standing.
• Current Tuberculosis Clearance as per Hawaii Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing department and supervise nursing staff.
• Perform resident assessments before admission, at 30 days, every six months, or as status changes.
• Coordinate with physicians, families, and administrators on care plans and changes.
• Ensure timely medication management and transcription per policy and regulations.
• Schedule nursing and resident care staff to maintain appropriate resident/staff ratios.
