Job summary

New Haven is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team caring for adolescent girls in a behavioral and mental health setting. This part-time role requires compassion, clinical skill, and a commitment to trauma-informed care and whole-person wellness.

Located in Utah, you will provide routine nursing care, document medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with therapists and medical providers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 21 years old.
  • Active LPN or RN license in Utah.
  • Utah driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a Utah State background check.
  • CAQH profile and NPI number required for credentialing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care for routine needs and medical emergencies.
  • Administer and document medications accurately, including controlled substances.
  • Monitor vital signs, weight, mood, and behavior.
  • Coordinate lab work and accompany residents to medical appointments.
  • Communicate relevant medical information to parents, the Nursing Director, and Treatment Team.
  • Collaborate with therapists and psychiatric providers to support treatment plans.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation ensuring 24/7 medical support.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate clinical documentation.

Schedule: Mon-Wed 10pm-8amPart Time

  • Comfortable with word processing software and basic network navigation
  • Willingness to receive professional feedback and participate in ongoing training
  • CAQH profile and NPI number required for credentialing
